  1. Only applicants who participated in the Post-UTME screening exercise will be considered for admission.
  2. Candidates are to log in to the Post-UTME portal to print their results.
  3. A minimum of 40% final aggregate score is required for eligibility for full-time admission. The aggregate is calculated as follows:
    • UTME score + 400, multiplied by 60%
    • PUTME score + 100, multiplied by 40%
  4. All admission processes will be conducted strictly on JAMB CAPS. Candidates are advised to check their CAPS regularly and accept their admission once offered.
  5. Candidates who have not uploaded their O’level results, particularly the recently released 2025 NECO results, on JAMB CAPS will not be considered for admission.
  6. Candidates who are offered admission but fail to “Accept” the offer on JAMB CAPS will not be issued JAMB Admission Letters and cannot proceed with registration.
  7. Once admission has been accepted on JAMB CAPS, candidates are expected to print their JAMB Admission Letters and proceed to the OOU Admission Portal to commence registration.
  8. Candidates who are considered for programmes different from their original choices must first “Accept” the Programme/Course Transfer Offer on JAMB CAPS. They will then accept their admission offer and complete a Change of Course within two weeks before printing their JAMB Admission Letters. Candidates are warned not to attempt a Change of Course without first accepting a Transfer Offer.
  9. The University cautions candidates to disregard unverified information from unofficial sources. Further instructions and updates will be communicated through subsequent official notices.

The University emphasized that adherence to the procedure is mandatory for a smooth admission process.
