Otu Onyeoghani Backs UNIDEL VC Raise Strategy, Pledges Infrastructure And Student Support

The Otu Onyeoghani Association has thrown its full weight behind the transformational RAISE Strategy of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delta, UNIDEL, Agbor, Prof. Eric Eboh.
This position was made known on Thursday when a delegation of the Association, led by its Chairman, Prof. Joe Alika, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor at the University's Council Chambers.
Prof. Alika congratulated Prof. Eboh on his appointment and reaffirmed the Association's commitment to partnering with the University in areas that would strengthen its academic and physical development.
He explained that the visit was aimed at deepening collaboration between the Association and the University Management on projects of mutual benefit, particularly infrastructural development and initiatives that would improve students' learning environment.
As part of the partnership, Prof. Alika announced the Association's decision to donate desktop computers to the University to enhance teaching, learning and administrative efficiency. He also disclosed plans to collaborate with the institution and other stakeholders in addressing students' accommodation challenges, describing the initiative as part of the Association's commitment to educational advancement in Ika land.
Responding, an elated Prof. Eboh described the visit as a significant demonstration of community ownership and stakeholder confidence in the University's vision. The Vice-Chancellor outlined his administration's RAISE Strategy, explaining that it was designed as a comprehensive blueprint for repositioning UNIDEL as a leading institution renowned for academic excellence, innovation, research and impactful partnerships.
The Registrar, Dr. Mrs. Esther Akpojuvie; the Bursar, Dr. Sunny Ikeogwu; and the University Librarian, Dr. Mrs. Vera Okonoko, were also in attendance.
Other members of the Otu Onyeoghani delegation included Prof. Emmanuel Tibi, Barr. Emmanuel Ebomah, Mr. Nelson Okoh, Chief Pius Erhabor, and Mr. Micaiah Oby Okoh.
