Otukoya Crowned Winner of Lagos Talks Back to School Arts Competition

Otukoya Oluwajoba won the Lagos Talks Back to School Arts Competition, receiving a cash prize of ₦200,000. The event, celebrating the 8th anniversary of LagosTalks 91.3FM and supported by Krispy Kreme, BIC, and Cera Cerni’s Art Hub, aimed to showcase young talent with the theme “My Colourful Nigeria & My Nigeria of Tomorrow.”

Otukoya Oluwajoba has emerged as the overall winner of the Lagos Talks Back to School Arts Competition, securing a cash prize of ₦200,000. This competition, held to celebrate the 8th anniversary of LagosTalks 91.3FM, featured notable support from Krispy Kreme, BIC, and Cera Cerni’s Art Hub.

In the competition, Oghene Odafe and Pamilerin Abdullahi were recognized as the first and second runners-up, respectively, winning ₦150,000 and ₦100,000. The event aimed to showcase young talent and foster creativity among children, centered around the theme “My Colourful Nigeria & My Nigeria of Tomorrow.”

Ify Igwe, the Programs Director at Lagos Talks, commended the initiative for its role in promoting the artistic expression of youth. Amira Obi-Okoye, Sales and Marketing Director of Megalectrics, urged parents to nurture their children’s creative talents, highlighting the significant impact of artistic development on the nation’s future.
