OYSCATECH Matriculates 1,996 Students for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora, formally admitted 1,996 new students during its 17th matriculation ceremony held recently for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The new intake comprises students across both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, representing a diverse cohort of future agricultural and technological experts.
A Commitment to Skill-Based Education
Addressing the matriculants, the College management emphasized the institution's role in equipping students with practical, industry-ready skills. The Rector urged the new students to take full advantage of the college’s facilities, particularly in the areas of modern farming techniques and digital agriculture, to contribute to Nigeria's food security goals.
Academic Integrity and Discipline
The ceremony included the formal administration of the matriculation oath, where students pledged to uphold the rules and regulations of the institution. Management reinforced its "zero-tolerance" policy for social vices such as cultism, examination malpractice, and drug abuse, stressing that academic excellence must be paired with high moral standards.
