Patient Satisfaction Cited as Top Priority at FUTH Lafia General Outpatient Clinic

Patient satisfaction remains our top priority at the General Outpatient Clinic of the Federal University Teaching Hospital Lafia, where dedicated staff deliver patient-centered care.

Head of the Department, Dr. Sunday Madubueze said patients are promptly attended to starting from taking of their vitals to enhance proper diagnosis, followed by health education and disease prevention which are also observed as deliberate part of patients engagement each day. This gives the patient avenue to ask general questions which they may not remember to ask the doctor during consultations.

The GOPD Clinic maintains a clean and comfortable environment, with strategically placed waste bins, a conducive waiting area, and clean convineniences. 

He added that Key service points like the Pharmacy, DNA Laboratory, and pay-points are deliberately cited within the clinic to ease burden of patients and reduce waiting time.

Many patients expressed satisfaction with the improved services, effective treatment, and clean environment.
