TASFUED Holds Capacity Building Workshop for New Principal Officers on Leadership and Digital Transformation

The Management of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, TASFUED, Ijagun, has organised a one-day training workshop for newly appointed principal officers to enhance leadership capacity and promote institutional growth.

The workshop, held today, was attended by newly appointed Provosts, Deputy Provosts, Heads of Department, Directors, Coordinators and Administrators of the University.

Delivering the Welcome Address, the Vice-Chancellor of TASFUED, Prof. Samuel Ekundayo Oladipo, MNPA, CMCPN, MCAN, FIELPN, said the training was designed to equip the new leadership team with relevant skills for effective university administration in a digital age.

Prof. Oladipo also presented the first paper titled “STAR-WIN Implementation.” He stated that the STAR-WIN framework focuses on Strategic Academic Leadership, Stakeholder Engagement and Quality Assurance as key drivers for digital transformation and institutional development.

The Vice-Chancellor noted that collaboration among stakeholders and adherence to quality assurance standards are essential for repositioning the University to meet national and global expectations in teacher education.

The workshop provided participants with insights on strategic planning, effective communication, digital tools for administration, and best practices for quality service delivery.

The University Management reaffirmed its commitment to continuous training and retraining of staff and principal officers to ensure TASFUED sustains its mandate as a leading Federal University of Education in Nigeria.
