Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, New FULafia VC, Visits Emir of Lafia to Seek Royal Blessing and Community Support

The new Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, and some members of the University’s Management team have visited the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammed I, JSC (rtd), at his palace in Lafia, to seek his support to surmount the University's challenges.

During the visit, Kida unveiled to the emir his development agenda for FULafia, saying that he hoped to leave the University better than he me it.

He emphasised the vital role of traditional institutions in strengthening relations between the University and its host community, appealing for the emir's assistance in developing the University.

In response, the emir commended the vice-chancellor and his delegation for their visit, praying for the University’s success.

He pledged to continue to support for the University to realise its potentials.
