Professor Folasade Ogunsola, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has underscored the importance of digitization in enhancing the efficiency of university administration. During an impromptu visit on August 6, 2024, she toured various offices within the UNILAG Senate House.

The Vice-Chancellor inspected the Students’ Records and Certificates Unit, the Examinations Office, and the Security Post—all located on the Ground floor. Additionally, she visited the Admissions and Records Offices on the first floor.

Engaging with staff members, Prof. Ogunsola discussed operational procedures and identified challenges. She advocated for innovative ideas to streamline processes, making the university administration more user-friendly and operationally efficient. Accompanied by Professor Olufemi Shaibu, Director of Quality Assurance and SERVICOM, she reaffirmed the university management’s commitment to achieving a “21st Century UNILAG” through comprehensive digitization. This transformation aims to create a seamless, paperless, and productive environment for all stakeholders.

As staff members continue their dedicated service, Prof. Ogunsola called for their unwavering support in making UNILAG future-ready.
