This distinguished honour follows her conferment with an Honorary Doctor of Humanity (Honoris Causa) at Caleb University’s 15th Convocation Ceremony.
Speaking on behalf of the staff and students, Professor Akindele described the appointment as a testament to Pastor Adeboye’s decades of service, leadership, and mentorship. He highlighted her unwavering support of the ministry of her husband, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and her distinguished contributions as a compassionate leader, education advocate, counsellor, and moral guide to numerous homes and institutions.
“Her appointment as Chancellor is not only a recognition of her personal virtues and contributions but also a celebration of the enduring values of integrity, scholarship, and sanctity which she represents,” the Vice-Chancellor said.

He concluded by noting that Redeemer’s University, as a sister institution within the Christian educational community, rejoices with Caleb University on this remarkable milestone.
