The inspection tour, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, alongside members of the University Management, provided parents and guardians with firsthand insight into the scale, quality, and progress of ongoing construction and expansion efforts across the campus.
Major projects showcased during the tour included newly constructed hostel facilities, a modern 3-in-1 lecture complex, and a 750-seater lecture hall designed to significantly expand the university’s teaching and learning capacity. These projects, according to management, are part of a broader strategy to improve student welfare, strengthen academic delivery, and align campus infrastructure with global standards.
Members of the Family Forum expressed strong satisfaction with the developments, commending the university for the pace of execution and the quality of work delivered so far. Many described the progress as a clear reflection of effective planning, institutional discipline, and a sustained commitment to long-term growth.
The Vice-Chancellor reiterated that the university’s infrastructure expansion is not merely about physical structures but about deliberately creating an enabling environment that supports academic excellence, innovation, and holistic student development.
He noted that Redeemer’s University remains focused on building a future-ready academic ecosystem that balances learning, research, and residential life in line with global best practices.
