Research Assistant Vacancy at CAMRET, Usmanu Danfodiyo University

The Centre for Advanced Medical Research and Training (CAMRET) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has announced a vacancy for a Research Assistant to join its Cell Culture Lab team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the laboratory and participating in cutting-edge in vitro experiments focused on mammalian cancer cells.

Responsibilities include handling day-to-day laboratory operations, conducting various in vitro experiments, performing molecular biology techniques, collaborating with researchers, and analyzing and interpreting experimental data.

Applicants must possess a BSc or MSc degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related field, with hands-on experience in cell culture techniques and molecular experiments. Strong understanding of cell biology, particularly in cancer research, is highly desirable.

The position offers a monthly salary of N100,000, opportunity to pursue a fully funded postgraduate degree in Cancer Biology and Therapeutics, and access to world-class research facilities and mentorship from leading experts in cancer research.
