Rivers State University Hosts 11th Breakfast Academy

Rivers State University (RSU) recently held its 11th Breakfast Academy, a landmark event that brought together academia, industry, and government to explore new ways to commercialize university research.

The event, themed "From Campus to Commerce: Driving the Uptake of University Research and Programmes," aimed to promote innovation, improve institutional processes, and drive economic development.

Janne Pentti Olavi Lauanne, CEO of Webuust (Finland), delivered a keynote address on tech innovation, emphasizing the need for funding, infrastructure, and university-industry partnerships.

Engr. Christopher Ehi Omondiagbe, MD of the Bank of Industry, spoke on the role of development finance in promoting innovation.
