Chief Medical Director of RSUTH, Prof. Chizindu Alikor, participated in the enrolment exercise alongside hospital staff, affirming the institution’s full support for the life-transforming programme designed to enhance healthcare access across the state.
Prof. Alikor expressed deep appreciation for the Governor’s commitment to prioritising the welfare of health workers, describing the initiative as a landmark step toward building a more equitable and robust healthcare system in Rivers State.

The hospital also acknowledged the contributions of the Honorable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adaeze Oreh, and the Executive Secretary of RIVCHPP, Dr. Vetty Agala, whose tireless efforts have been instrumental in driving the implementation of the inclusive health insurance scheme for healthcare professionals.
