Sa'adu Zungur University Hosts NUC Accreditation Panel for Environmental Health Programme

Sa'adu Zungur University (SAZU) recently welcomed a National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation team for the evaluation of its Environmental Health programme.

The two-day visit, which took place from November 10th to 11th, 2025, is part of the NUC's efforts to ensure that Nigerian universities meet and maintain the commission's academic standards.

The accreditation panel consisted of Prof. Abdulhamid Adamu Ibrahim as Team Lead, Prof. Ikenna Ndubuisi Nwachuku, and Malam Yakubu Mohammed. During the visit, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Fatimah Tahir, expressed appreciation to the NUC for the accreditation opportunity, highlighting it as a significant step towards the university's goal of becoming a Centre of Excellence. She reaffirmed SAZU's commitment to upholding quality and adhering to NUC's standards in all academic programmes. The visit demonstrates SAZU's ongoing dedication to maintaining academic excellence and providing quality education.
