Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation to award scholarships to ABU students
Speaking when he paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Kabiru Bala, Jafaru explained that the scholarship was to support and assist students of the institution who passed the interview that would be conducted at the Counselling and Human Development Centre of the University.

Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation will honour students of Ahmadu Bello University with award of scholarship for their studies, Chairman of the Foundation’s Advisory Council, Alhaji Munir Jafaru, disclosed in Zaria today.
Speaking when he paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Kabiru Bala, Jafaru explained that the scholarship was to support and assist students of the institution who passed the interview that would be conducted at the Counselling and Human Development Centre of the University.
Alhaji Jafaru, OFR, who is the Madakin Zazzau and District Head of Basawa, expressed satisfaction with the relationship that existed between the University and the foundation.
Earlier, the Director, Counselling and Human Development Centre, Dr. Sa’adatu Makarfi, appreciated the foundation’s kind gesture and effort, saying that the scholarship would make an impact on many students, especially the indigent ones.
In his response, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Ahmed Doko Ibrahim, said that the University appreciated the services of the foundation and expressed the hope that the cordial ties between the two organisations would remain.
