Talented African Student Secures Coveted UK Chevening Scholarship for Tuition-Free Master's Degree at University of Essex
Emmanuel Nshimiyimana is a man from Rwanda who bagged his bachelor’s degree in Computer and Software Engineering at the University of Rwanda, Nigeria.
Emmanuel Nshimiyimana, a young and talented individual hailing from Rwanda, has achieved a significant milestone by securing the highly esteemed Chevening Scholarship. This scholarship will enable him to pursue his master's degree at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom.
Emmanuel Nshimiyimana, who previously earned his bachelor's degree in Computer and Software Engineering from the University of Rwanda in Nigeria, shared his elation on LinkedIn as he announced his remarkable achievement. He revealed that he would be embarking on his postgraduate journey at the University of Essex's School of Mathematics, Statistics, and Actual Science.
Emmanuel's chosen field of study is Data Science, for which he will be pursuing a Master of Science degree at the University. He conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to the Chevening Award for affording him the opportunity to hone his skills and ultimately become a professional Data Scientist.
In his gratitude, he extended special thanks to the British High Commission in Kigali and the University of Essex for their invaluable contributions to the scholarship. Emmanuel eagerly expressed his enthusiasm for joining a community of like-minded leaders in the United Kingdom.
Notably, Emmanuel is also a member of the Commonwealth Queen's Young Leaders and serves as the Founder and Executive Director of RwandaOpp, a non-governmental organization based in Rwanda.

Afeez Saka, a native of Nigeria, successfully completed his bachelor's degree in Health Education at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. This achievement marks another significant stride in his educational journey.
