TASU Secures NUC Approval for 24 New Undergraduate Programmes
Taraba State University (TASU), Jalingo, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence 24 new undergraduate programmes from the 2026/2027 academic session, marking a significant expansion of its academic offerings.

The approval followed a successful resource verification exercise conducted by the NUC and was secured under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunday Paul Bako.
According to the approval letter issued by the Commission, all the newly approved programmes will be offered on a full-time basis at the university's main campus in Jalingo, Taraba State.
