Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) has announced plans to introduce a Swimming Training Programme for students, in partnership with Harmony Aquatic Club, Ilorin. 

The collaboration was finalized following a meeting between TAU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francisca Onaolapo Oladipo, and Harmony Aquatic Club representatives Dr. Tola Obajolowo and Coach Tope Emmanuel Rumide. The club is renowned for producing swimmers who have competed at regional and national levels.  

The programme will be open to all TAU students, regardless of prior swimming experience. Coaches will provide step-by-step training, beginning with water confidence and progressing to advanced skills.
