Thomas Adewumi University has congratulated the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole (SAN), on his appointment as a member of the Body of Benchers, the apex regulatory body of the legal profession in Nigeria.
The appointment, conveyed in a letter dated March 31, 2026, takes immediate effect and will run for a three-year term.
In a statement, the university described the recognition as a reflection of Prof. Egbewole’s contributions to legal scholarship, institutional leadership, and professional excellence. It noted that his elevation further reinforces the standing of the University of Ilorin as a leading institution in legal education and academic development.
