TIMSAN - Usman Danfodiyo University Invites University Community to Annual Maulud Celebration

The Tijjaniyya Muslim Students' Association of Nigeria at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (TIMSAN-UDUS), will host its annual Maulud celebration on Sunday, September 29, 2024, corresponding to 26th Rabiul-Auwal, 1446. The event, to be held at MH2 from 9 AM to 2 PM, is open to all members of the university community.

According to TIMSAN-UDUS President, Abubakar Tukur, the Maulud celebrates the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and serves as an opportunity for the Muslim community to come together in reflection and reverence. Tukur explained that the occasion is a moment to honor the Prophet’s life, teachings, and values, fostering unity among students and faculty.
