The Physiotherapy Department of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, held its 2026 New Year party on January 16 at the departmental office, bringing staff together to reflect on service delivery and institutional support.

Speaking at the event, the Head of the Physiotherapy Department, Dr. Raymond Olaseinde, expressed appreciation to the management of UCH for its consistent support and commitment to quality healthcare delivery. He reaffirmed the department’s resolve to sustain high standards in physiotherapy practice, with a focus on patient recovery from injuries, effective management of chronic conditions, and the overall improvement of physical function and quality of life.

Representing the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, the Deputy Chief Medical Advisory Committee (DCMAC) on Clinical Services, Prof. Olushola Olawoye, commended the Physiotherapy Department for its professionalism and distinctive contribution to patient care within the hospital.

She further assured the department of management’s continued support, noting that the leadership of UCH remains committed to strengthening clinical services and enabling departments to perform optimally in line with the hospital’s mandate.
