The Stores Department of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, organized its 2nd Workshop on 14th October 2025 at the Adebo Seminar Room, themed “Stores: The Heartbeat of Every Organisation.”

The event brought together staff from various hospital departments to explore the critical role of the Stores Department in ensuring smooth and efficient hospital operations.

Mr. Michael Oladiran, Head of the Stores Department, expressed gratitude to hospital management for their support and reaffirmed the department’s commitment to best practices in inventory management, procurement, and supply chain operations.

In his remarks, the Chief Medical Director, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, represented by Professor Olubukola Adesina, Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee, commended the Stores Department for its dedication to transparency, accountability, and service excellence. He emphasized that the department serves as the backbone of hospital operations, with all other units relying on its efficiency.
