The University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre (UIDLC) has issued a warning about fraudulent fee collection activities. An individual named Adesuyi Gbadega Ben has been soliciting payments from students into his private First Bank account.

The management of the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre (UIDLC) has issued a warning to students regarding fraudulent activities related to the payment of acceptance and school fees. A certain individual, Adesuyi Gbadega Ben, with First Bank account number 3119832766, has been reportedly asking students to pay fees into his private account.

The UIDLC management clarified that no individual or corporate body has been authorized to collect fees on its behalf. All payments must be made directly through the student’s portal via Remita, the official government-recognized payment gateway.

Dr. Morounfoluwa O. Oyebola, Deputy Registrar/Secretary of the DLC, emphasized that Adesuyi Gbadega Ben is not affiliated with UIDLC, and any transactions with him are at the payer’s own risk.
