The fake message, purportedly from the university, claims to require students to update their profile (Bio-Data) information.

 

The university has confirmed that the message is fake and originated from an individual named Usman K Usman, who is not affiliated with UMYU. The university emphasizes that it does not request personal information such as phone numbers, email addresses, or next of kin details through unofficial channels.
