UNIABUJA Issues Urgent Notice on Collection of Matriculation Gowns for 2026 Ceremony

The Management of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has issued an important notice on the collection of matriculation gowns for the matriculation ceremony of the 2025/2026 freshmen.

As preparations continue for the forthcoming Matriculation Ceremony on Thursday, 12 February 2026, all fresh students are informed that the collection of matriculation gowns will begin on Monday, 9 February 2026.

Students are required to collect their gowns from their respective Faculty Officers, presenting a duly stamped school fees receipt as proof of payment.

Important Notice:

• All gowns must be returned immediately after the ceremony.
• A penalty of ₦5,000 per day will be imposed for late returns.
