UNIABUJA Vice-Chancellor Inaugurates Committee for Landmark 29th and 30th Combined Convocation Ceremonies

In a significant step toward celebrating academic achievement, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja (UniAbuja), Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, has officially inaugurated the Convocation Ceremonies Committee. The move sets the stage for the institution's upcoming combined 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremonies.

The ceremony, held today, January 6, 2026, marks one of the first major administrative actions by Professor Fawehinmi since his recent assumption of office.

The Committee is chaired by Professor Olanrewaju Aladeitan, a distinguished academic within the university. According to the terms of reference provided by the Vice-Chancellor, the committee is mandated to organize "befitting and successful ceremonies" that reflect the prestige of the University of National Unity.
