UNICAL Promotes 4 Academic Staff to the Rank of Professors

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof Florence Obi has announced the promotion of 4 Academic Staff to the Professorial Cadre.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Linkages and Collaboration, Prof Peter Okafor who presided over the Special Senate Session of the University of Calabar on behalf of the Vice Chancellor disclosed that 1 Professor and 3 Associate Professors profited from the exercise.

They include Dr Macaulay Ittah of Crop Science (Professor), Dr Obal Usang of Accounting (Ass. Prof), Dr Oluyemi Akintoye of EPM (Ass. Prof) and Dr Joseph Ebegbulem of Pol Sc (Ass. Prof).
