UNICROSS Announces Postponement of First Semester Examinations for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) wishes to formally notify all students, staff, and members of the University community that the First Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 (2024/2025) Academic Session, initially scheduled to begin on Monday, 23rd February 2026, have been postponed.

UNICROSS Announces Postponement of First Semester Examinations for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) wishes to formally notify all students, staff, and members of the University community that the First Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 (2024/2025) Academic Session, initially scheduled to begin on Monday, 23rd February 2026, have been postponed.

The examinations will now commence on Monday, 9th March 2026, and conclude on Saturday, 25th April 2026. An Easter Break has been scheduled from Thursday, 2nd April 2026 to Monday, 6th April 2026, after which the examinations will resume on Tuesday, 7th April 2026.

Reasons for Rescheduling:
The adjustment has been approved to ensure that students have adequate time to:

  1. Complete all outstanding course registration processes.
  2. Allow newly admitted students to finalize their documentation.
  3. Obtain their University Identification Cards (IDs), which are mandatory for entry into examination halls.

The University urges all students and staff to take note of the revised schedule and make the necessary preparations.
