UNICROSS Postpones Resumption Date for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has announced a new resumption date for the 2025/2026 academic session, moving it from Monday, October 13, 2025, to Friday, November 7, 2025.

In a circular issued on October 9, 2025, and signed by the Acting Registrar, Idim E. Ekanem, the university explained that the postponement was necessary to allow lecturers to complete the uploading of students’ results, enable management to finalize preparations for the forthcoming accreditation exercise, and facilitate essential maintenance work in the hostels to ensure a safe and conducive environment for students.

The circular urged all staff and students to take note of the new date and cooperate with the university’s efforts to ensure a smooth academic transition.

While expressing regret for any inconvenience caused by the adjustment, the management appreciated the patience and understanding of the university community.
