UNILAG Vice-Chancellor Reaffirms Support for UNILAG Consult’s Innovative Initiatives

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS, received the leadership of UNILAG Consult Limited on Tuesday, 25th November 2025, during a courtesy visit to her Senate House office.
The delegation, led by the Chairman of the Board, Professor Uchenna Udeani, included key board members: Bursar Mrs. Oluwafunmilola Adekunle; Managing Director, Professor Lekan Oyefara; Secretary of the Board, Mrs. Dorcas Olagunju; Senior Manager (Accounts), Mrs. Oluyemi Adegoke; and Human Resources Manager, Miss Promise Etim.
Professor Ogunsola received the team in the presence of University Management members, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services), Professor Muyiwa Falaiye, and the Director of Academic Planning Unit, Professor Mathew Olusoji Ilori.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Professor Oyefara noted that the visit was primarily to present twenty copies of Chronicles of Duoye Diri, a book recently launched in honour of Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State. He expressed gratitude to the University’s leadership for its continuous support of UNILAG Consult, particularly since his appointment as Managing Director and during the planning of the book launch event.
Professor Oyefara also reaffirmed UNILAG Consult’s commitment to its core mandate and outlined plans to drive community impact through innovative, student-focused entrepreneurship initiatives.
In response, Professor Ogunsola commended UNILAG Consult for its dedication to excellence and innovation, emphasizing the Consultancy’s role in advancing the University’s enterprise objectives. She encouraged the team to continue improving operations and expanding strategic partnerships.
The Vice-Chancellor reaffirmed University Management’s readiness to support initiatives that enhance efficiency, visibility, and institutional growth, recognizing UNILAG Consult as a key driver of the University’s engagement with industry and the wider society.
The visit concluded with the formal presentation of the books and group photographs.
