UNIMAID Announces 43rd Matriculation Ceremony

The University of Maiduguri is pleased to announce that its 43rd Matriculation Ceremony has been scheduled to take place on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10:00 am in the Convocation Square.

The ceremony marks an important milestone for new students, as they officially become members of the university community. Matriculation is mandatory for all new students, and they are expected to participate in the ceremony.

In preparation for the ceremony, the collection of academic gowns will commence on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, through the College/Faculty Officers. Students are required to return their gowns by Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Please note that students who lose or damage their gowns will be required to pay the full cost of the gown, as determined by the Bursar.
