Established in 2013, ACE-CEFOR is dedicated to advancing quality postgraduate training and manpower development in Africa, with a focus on sustainable solutions for the petroleum and allied industries. The Centre’s internationally accredited graduate programmes aim to equip students with the technical expertise and research capacity needed to address the continent’s energy and environmental challenges.

Admission Requirements
- Ph.D.: Applicants must hold a relevant M.Sc. degree from the University of Port Harcourt or any accredited institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale, and not less than 3.0 in their first degree.
- M.Sc.: Applicants must possess a relevant first degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5-point scale.
All applicants must also have at least a credit pass in Mathematics and English Language at O’Level.
Duration of Programmes
- Ph.D.: 36 calendar months of intensive coursework and industry-focused research.
- M.Sc.: 12 calendar months of modular taught courses and industry-based project work.
