The Student Union Government (SUG) of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has mandated that all students and student associations must notify the Directorate of Health, Environment & Welfare before organizing any health-related activities.

  • Covered Activities: Health outreaches, medical screenings, awareness campaigns, and other initiatives promoting student well-being.
  • Purpose: Ensure proper coordination, compliance with university and health regulations, and the safety of all participants.

The Directorate, led by Comr. Eme Bassey, also expressed willingness to collaborate with students and groups on initiatives aimed at improving campus health and welfare.
