Late Dr. Attoe served as Provost of the Cross River State College of Education, Akamkpa—now University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa—and his visionary leadership and contributions left a lasting impact on the institution. His sudden demise has left a profound sense of loss within the academic community.
Representing the university, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Associate Professor Benedict Ugbong, alongside Bursar Dr. Eyo Ekpe, conveyed the management team’s sympathy and support to the grieving family. During the visit, they reflected on Dr. Attoe’s outstanding contributions to education, his legacy of excellence, and the void his absence has created both in the university and at home.
The management’s visit served as a gesture of solidarity, compassion, and respect, reaffirming the university community’s commitment to standing with the family during this difficult period.
