The College of Medicine, University of Ibadan (COMUI) Class of 2000 paid a courtesy visit to the management of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, as part of activities marking their Silver Jubilee celebration and reunion.

The College of Medicine, University of Ibadan (COMUI) Class of 2000 paid a courtesy visit to the management of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, as part of activities marking their Silver Jubilee celebration and reunion.

The visit took place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the hospital’s boardroom.

Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), Dr. Laide Gbadebo, expressed appreciation to the hospital management for the warm reception accorded the alumni. She noted that the theme of the anniversary, “Our Roots, Embracing Our Wings,” reflects the class’s commitment to reconnecting with their alma mater while advancing their professional and humanitarian contributions.

Representing the Chief Medical Director, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, and Director of Clinical Services, Research and Training, Professor Olubukola Adesina, commended the alumni for their continued goodwill and generous support to the hospital.

Professor Adesina extended warm wishes to the visiting alumni, congratulating them on their milestone celebration and expressing optimism for more years of fruitful collaboration and shared progress.
