MBBS/BDS Class of 2000 Donates 20KVA Solar Inverter to UCH Ibadan
The Management of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has commissioned a 20KVA solar inverter system with a 7.5-kilowatt battery donated by the MBBS/BDS Graduating Class of 2000 of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan.
The Management of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has commissioned a 20KVA solar inverter system with a 7.5-kilowatt battery donated by the MBBS/BDS Graduating Class of 2000 of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan.

The commissioning took place on Thursday, September 6, 2025, at the hospital’s Dental Clinic.
Speaking at the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Kayode Kolude, expressed deep appreciation to the Class of 2000 for their generous contribution, noting that the solar power system would significantly enhance healthcare service delivery and operational efficiency within the clinic.

The Chief Medical Director, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, represented by the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, Professor Olubukola Adesina, commended the alumni for aligning with the hospital’s core value of “Patients’ Comfort and Staff Welfare.” He lauded their continued commitment to supporting institutional growth and improving patient care infrastructure.
