University of Maiduguri Receives N589 Million from NELFUND for Student Loans

The University of Maiduguri has received a payment of N589,001,500.00 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to support 5,539 students.
In a letter of acknowledgement, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, expressed sincere appreciation to the Federal Government of Nigeria for initiating the laudable program and selecting the University of Maiduguri as one of the six pilot universities to benefit from the fund.
This initiative aims to facilitate the smooth and timely completion of studies for the benefiting students. The university commends the Federal Government's efforts in supporting education and ensuring students' success.
