University of Maiduguri Student Union President Addresses Student Concerns

The Student Union President of the University of Maiduguri, Hafiz Mohammed Bello, addressed the student body today regarding the persistent challenges faced by students on campus.

President Bello expressed solidarity with the students and acknowledged the issues of electricity cuts, water supply deficiency, insecurity fears, and other problems hindering academic progress. He assured the students that he has pledged to take practical steps to address these concerns.

The student union is engaging with the university management, led by Prof. Mele, to resolve these issues. Efforts are being made to ensure a stable electricity supply, consistent water supply, and improved security measures. Additionally, the union is working to stabilize prices of essential goods on campus, provide academic support, and promote student engagement.
