University of Nigeria SUG Judiciary Launches Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah Essay Competition

The Students Union Government (SUG) Judiciary of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has officially launched the inaugural "Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah Essay Competition," to commemorate Judiciary Day 2024. Themed "Amicus Curiae: We Can Be Friends of the Court," the competition seeks to engage students in critical thinking on the topic: "Are Judges Politicians? Cultivating Synergy for the Promotion of Judicial Independence."

RECOMMENDED: UNN Releases 2023/2024 Supplementary Admission List III, Supplementary Direct Entry Admission List III

Open to all students across UNN's Nsukka Campus, Enugu Campus, and Ituku Ozalla, participants are required to adhere to specific guidelines:

  • Essays must be in Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
  • Word count should be between 1200 to 1500 words.
  • Submissions are accepted from 3rd July to 15th July 2024 via email to sugjudiciaryunn@gmail.com.
