According to the university, the lecture is scheduled to hold on June 6, 2026, at the New Convocation Arena by 10:00 a.m.
Themed “Leadership and Infrastructure Development in Nigeria: Lessons for Future Leaders,” the lecture will focus on governance, public infrastructure, and leadership development in Nigeria.
The guest speaker for the event is the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, who is expected to deliver the keynote address.

University authorities described the lecture as an important platform for intellectual discourse on national development, leadership, and the future of governance in Nigeria.
The institution also called on members of the university community, stakeholders, and the general public to participate in the event, which forms one of the major highlights of the 2026 convocation week activities.
