UNN Opens Application for Advertised Courses in 2025/2026 Admission Exercise
The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced the commencement of its application process for advertised courses (also known as shopping) for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced the commencement of its application process for advertised courses (also known as shopping) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the official notice, UTME candidates who scored 160 and above in both the UTME and UNN Post-UTME screening, but have not yet been offered admission as published earlier, are invited to apply for available spaces in specific departments across various faculties.
The exercise covers a wide range of programmes in faculties such as Arts, Agriculture, Biological Sciences, Education, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and Vocational Technical Education, among others.
Interested candidates are to follow the application procedures below:
- Visit the University of Nigeria website www.unn.edu.ng or the UNN Portal www.unnportal.edu.ng.
- Log in with your JAMB Registration Number to generate and download a payment invoice containing a Remita number.
- Pay a ₦10,000 processing fee at any commercial bank using the invoice. Ensure the correct invoice number is entered at the bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing your confirmation number and invoice number.
- Return to the UNN website or portal and log in again using your JAMB and invoice numbers to complete the Advert/Shopping Form online.
The application portal opens on Monday, October 20, 2025, and closes on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Candidates must ensure they meet the University and Departmental entry requirements for their chosen courses and must have taken the appropriate UTME subjects. It was also emphasized that candidates admitted through this advert will not be allowed to change courses during the 2025/2026 academic year.
The university urged all eligible applicants to adhere strictly to the application guidelines and deadlines.
