Usmanu Danfodiyo University Hosts 6th Faculty of Management Sciences National Conference

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto's Faculty of Management Sciences is set to host its 6th National Conference, themed "Securing Nigeria's Future: Leveraging Management Sciences for Fiscal Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth".

The conference, scheduled to take place from February 5th to 7th, 2025, at the Faculty of Management Sciences Hall, will commence at 9:00 AM. The event promises to bring together esteemed individuals, including Prof. Bayero Ahmed Sabir Muhammad, Chairman of the Occasion, and His Excellency Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, Ph.D., FCNA, Executive Governor of Sokoto State, as Special Guest of Honour.

Other notable attendees include Prof. Isah Muhammad Maishanu, Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Higher Education, Sokoto State, and His Eminence Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, The Sultan of Sokoto, as Royal Father of the Day. Prof. Yahaya Tanko Baba will present the lead paper, while Prof. Bashir Garba, MFR, Vice Chancellor of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, will serve as Chief Host.

The Faculty of Management Sciences, established in 2001, aims to provide world-class management education, empowering students with knowledge, skills, and competencies required to become innovative problem solvers and ethical leaders.
