Usmanu Danfodiyo University Mourns as Esteemed Political Science Lecturer, Prof. Zagga, Passes Away

The academic community of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), has been thrown into mourning following the transition of Professor Zagga, a distinguished scholar and lecturer in the Department of Political Science.

Prof. Zagga, remembered by colleagues and students as an intellectual pillar and a dedicated mentor, contributed significantly to the study of political science and the academic growth of the institution. His passing is regarded as a profound loss to the university and the wider Nigerian academic sphere.

In accordance with Islamic traditions, prayers have been offered for the repose of his soul. "May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him a place in Aljannatul Firdaus," a statement from the university community reflected.
