Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto Hosts Inter-Faculty Competition

The Student Affairs Division, Sports Unit of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) has announced an inter-faculty competition for the 2023/2024 academic session, commencing on Tuesday, September 17.

The knockout stage features two groups, A and B, with seven matches scheduled. The Faculty of Social Sciences will serve as a standby team.

Group A matches include:

- Faculty of Physical and Computing Sciences vs. Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies

- Agriculture vs. Chemical and Life Sciences

- Arts vs. Education

- Management Sciences vs. Veterinary Medicine

Group B matches feature:

- Faculty of Allied Health Sciences vs. College of Health Sciences (CHS)

- Basic Medical Sciences vs. Engineering

- Law vs. Pharmacy

The quarterfinals are scheduled for September 24-27, followed by semifinals on September 28-29. The final match date will be announced later.

This competition aims to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students from various faculties.
