Yobe State University Appoints Mallam Isa Audu Dallari as Substantive Registrar
The Governing Council of Yobe State University (YSU) has officially approved the appointment of Mallam Isa Audu Dallari as the institution's substantive Registrar.
The decision was reached during an extraordinary meeting of the Council held on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The appointment follows a rigorous screening process and a formal recommendation by the Selection Committee, in strict compliance with the Yobe State University Law of 2006 (as amended).
Until his elevation to the role of Registrar, Mallam Isa Audu Dallari served as a Director of Administration within the university. His career has been marked by deep involvement in the institution’s administrative framework, making him a seasoned insider well-equipped to manage the university's secretarial and administrative functions.
This appointment coincides with the recent selection of Professor Mohammed Bashir Tahir as the university's new Vice-Chancellor. Together, these appointments signal a significant leadership transition aimed at strengthening the administrative and academic governance of Yobe State University for the 2026/2027 session and beyond.
