Hannah Ann Enyan, a former student of Labone Senior High School, has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the youngest chartered accountant in Ghana at the tender age of 18. She proudly emerged as part of the graduating class of 2021 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG) of Ghana.

The prestigious ceremony took place at the 36th graduation event held at the University of Professional Studies in Accra. This event served as a platform to award certificates to those who successfully completed all three levels of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Professional Exams and to formally induct new members into the Institute.

The celebration also extended recognition to other individuals who met the high standards set by comparable professional accounting bodies.

A total of 425 qualified accountants and 105 Chartered Diplomas were awarded, while the Institute welcomed 421 new members into its fold.

Hannah Ann Enyan's remarkable achievement as the youngest Chartered Accountant in the nation is credited to divine favor, the dedicated support of the Institute's management and lecturers, and the unwavering backing of her family. In particular, she highlighted Mr. Samuel Nii Sampah, the finance officer of Queioz Galvao Group, as the motivating force behind her determination and commitment to the program.

Among the graduates, Ms. Mmabila Deborah Azika, an alumna of the University of Cape Coast, was honored as the institute's overall best level-three applicant.

Professor Williams Atuilik, the President of the Institute, seized the occasion to underscore the fundamental importance of integrity in the field of accounting. He emphasized, "We anticipate that, as qualified special accountants from the Institute, you will broaden your horizons by viewing other incidental disciplines that are essential to helping you become really competent accountants."
