62 Graduates Attain First Class at Olusegun Agagu University

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa, in Ondo State, is set to graduate 1,202 students, including 62 first-class graduates from the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic sessions.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, announced this during a briefing on the university's upcoming combined second convocation.Prof. Ologunorisa highlighted the distribution of graduates across different classes, with 527 in the second class upper division, 552 in the second class lower division, and 61 in the third class division.

He emphasized the university's transition from a teaching institution to a research-focused one, citing significant achievements in research. Additionally, he lauded the support received from the state government, particularly in securing TETFund benefits and facilitating necessary infrastructure development.
The Vice Chancellor appealed to the state governor to address abandoned projects on campus, including the proposed School of Maritime project. He underscored the importance of government intervention in realizing the institution's developmental goals.
