ABU Students' Representative Council Offers Sympathy to Community Market Fire Victims

A delegation from the Ahmadu Bello University Students' Representative Council (ABUSRC) paid a sympathy visit to the Community Market on the Samaru Campus, following a devastating fire outbreak that resulted in significant damage and losses.

 

Led by Vice President Comr. Ahmad Abdurrahman Shaba, the delegation met with market leaders, including the former chairman, current chairman, and vice chairman, to express their condolences and support.

 

The ABUSRC representatives emphasized their solidarity with the affected traders, urging them to remain hopeful and resilient in the face of adversity. The delegation also acknowledged the bravery of the university's fire service and students who helped contain the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, the university community has rallied around the affected traders, offering words of encouragement and support.

 

In a message, ABUSRC President Kallah, who was unable to join the delegation, expressed his sympathy and commitment to seeking assistance from philanthropists to support the affected traders.
