The family of the late Professor Oladipo Ademuyiwa has expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) for its unwavering support and recognition of the distinguished scholar’s legacy.

During an appreciation visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babatunde Kehinde, in his office on March 24, 2025, the Ademuyiwa family conveyed their gratitude for the university’s solidarity during their period of mourning. Speaking on behalf of the family, the late professor’s daughter, Miss Moyosooreoluwa Ademuyiwa, acknowledged FUNAAB’s kindness and compassion, which she said provided them with strength and solace.

She particularly commended the institution for the posthumous publication of the 99th Inaugural Lecture, which her father was scheduled to deliver before his passing. This gesture, she noted, demonstrated FUNAAB’s deep respect for her father’s contributions to academia.

Welcoming the family, Professor Kehinde paid glowing tribute to the late Professor Ademuyiwa, describing him as a dedicated academic whose impact on teaching, research, and mentorship was invaluable. He emphasized that the university remained proud of his numerous contributions to the field of Biochemistry and beyond.
