The Management of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, has announced a revised timetable for the hostel accommodation allocation exercise for the current academic session.

According to a notice issued by the Students Affairs Division and dated 6th January, 2026, the university disclosed that the allocation exercise for both fresh and returning students will now be conducted in two distinct phases.

Phase I Allocation will cover students from the following hostels and chiefdoms:
Ganye Chiefdom, Batta Chiefdom, Shelleng Chiefdom, Luguda Chiefdom, Mubi Emirate, Bachama Chiefdom, and Adamawa Emirate. Students allocated to the Abubakar Barde Male Hostel (256 capacity) are also included in this phase.
The Phase I allocation is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 8th January, 2026.

Phase II Allocation will involve students assigned to Premedics 1 & 2, Need 1 & 2, Chiroma, Aisha, Gambo, and Zainab hostels.
This phase is slated for Thursday, 15th January, 2026.

The university explained that the revision became necessary due to ongoing hostel renovation works at the Boni Haruna Campus, which are expected to be completed within the revised timeline. The management noted that the exercise is part of efforts to upgrade hostel facilities and ensure a more conducive living environment for students.

All affected students have been advised to take note of the new schedule and make appropriate arrangements. The university further assured that any additional updates will be communicated through official channels.
